Service Description
Lonia BillCheck is an AI-powered medical bill review service. You upload your medical bill and Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and we deliver a plain-language analysis identifying potential errors, overcharges, and billing code mismatches. BillCheck is priced at a flat fee per review. BillCheck is an informational tool and does not constitute legal, medical, or professional billing advice.
User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete documents for review. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of BillCheck is lawful and that you have the right to share any documents you upload.
Payment Terms
BillCheck operates on a flat-fee basis: $49 for a Basic Review and $149 for a Pro Review. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable once your report has been delivered.
Data Handling
Uploaded files are stored with encryption at rest and in transit. All documents are automatically and permanently deleted 7 days after your report is delivered. We use HIPAA-aware processing workflows and retain only a minimal record (date, issue count, report summary) for liability purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Limitation of Liability
BillCheck is an informational tool. Reports are generated by AI analysis and are not a substitute for professional billing advocates, medical professionals, or legal counsel. Lonia AI is not liable for decisions made based on BillCheck reports. Use of this service does not create a professional-client relationship of any kind.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Intellectual Property
All reports, templates, and analysis formats are the property of Lonia AI. You may use your report for personal dispute purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish BillCheck reports.
Service Scope
BillCheck is a one-time flat-fee service, not a subscription. Each payment covers one bill review. There is no ongoing commitment to cancel.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern about your report or service, contact support@lonia.ai. We will work to resolve any issues directly. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled through mediation in the State of New Jersey.
