Pillar One

Accessibility Commitment

Accessibility is a right, not a feature. Approximately 25% of U.S. adults live with a disability. BillCheck is built for all of them.

Standards

Lonia BillCheck is designed and tested to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance and align with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. We treat accessibility as a foundational requirement, not a retrofit.

Features Implemented

Skip Navigation

A skip-to-content link appears on focus so keyboard users can bypass repeated navigation.

Keyboard Navigation

Every interactive element is reachable and operable via keyboard alone, with no keyboard traps.

Focus Indicators

All focusable elements display a visible, high-contrast focus ring using :focus-visible.

Semantic HTML

Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to convey structure to assistive technologies.

Screen Reader Support

Content is authored with screen reader compatibility in mind, including live regions for dynamic updates and meaningful link text.

Reduced Motion

All animations and transitions respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query, reducing to near-zero duration when enabled.

Contrast Ratios

Text and interactive elements maintain a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds, exceeding AA requirements.

Alt Text

All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes to avoid screen reader noise.

Report an Issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on BillCheck, please let us know. We take every report seriously and work to resolve issues promptly.

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a checkbox. We continuously test, audit, and improve BillCheck to ensure every user — regardless of ability — can access the service they need.
